It's winter time and ski season is in full swing. So we thought we'd take a walk down memory lane and talk about what it was like growing up as a skiing family and discuss our favorite skiing movies. Hear about how Lily lost a tooth and how Becky was repeatedly left in the care of strangers. We also get mouth watering with our favorite ski hill foods (ahem, looking at you - poutine, Skor bars, and hot chocolate). And remember such classics as Ski Patrol, Ski School, Fire Ice and Dynamite, Aspen Extreme, Dumb and Dumber and Better Off Dead. We also dig into some of the more current things we've been watching, including Uncut Gems, Parasite, Shrill (Hulu), and JoJo Rabbit.

The Kid’s Guide to Gender, Sexuality, and Family" and Ted talker. Jonathan takes us through the complexities of how teen sex comedies (American Pie, Booksmart, Revenge of the Nerds) have evolved since the 1970s and we discuss the pros and cons of using these films for constructive sex education. We also make good on our promise to break down the portrayal of Hannukah in pop culture.
