Actor, musician, writer, podcaster and producer Rivkah Reyes (Gianna, Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls) joins the pod to talk about their upcoming short film Gianna, which explores the “inner saboteur” we all have lurking inside us. We discuss Rivkah’s inspiration for writing and producing Gianna, a film that comments on mental health and how we manage the darker, sexier, more extreme parts of ourselves. We also talk about their role in the film Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls, which wowed audiences at Sundance, and we ask some burning movie taste questions.
